Benjamin Stoddert Jr. High School is a public school of Prince Georges County (aka PG County), located at 2501 Olson St, Marlow Heights, Maryland. The school was named after Benjamin Stoddert, the first Secretary of the Navy, who was born in Charles County, Maryland. Stoddert opened its doors to students on September 5, 1957, overseen by Principal T.H. Wertz, and Vice Principal Reeder. The mascot of Stoddert is the Eagle.
I attended Stoddert from September ’70 through June ’73, in which Mr. Phillips and Mr. Flynn were Principal and Vice Principal, respectively. Enjoy this gallery of great photos from Stoddert.
