We had the Marlow Heights 60’s and 70’s Spring 2010 dance on April 3, 2010, at the American Legion in Chesapeake Beach, Maryland, from 6 p.m. until midnight. An initial estimate is that we had approximately 250 people attend, mostly alumni from Crossland, Potomac, and Suitland, from the 60’s and 70’s. We also had Mighty Mo’s, fries, onion rings, and A&W Root Beer Floats, prepared by American Legion staff and Potomac alumni Jim and John Margelos,
Rod Adams, Chuck Fraley, and Rod’s partner, Jan. If you took any pictures at the dance, and would like to see them on here, please email them to me, in high resolution if possible. Also, I won’t be able to identify everyone in the pictures yet, so I’m relying upon everyone to write to me and help me out with the names. Based upon the continues success of the dance, we may want to consider having one in October 2010, but making sure it is not the same weekend as the Potomac Class of ‘70’s 40-year reunion. I’d also like to hear your constructive criticism on how future dances can be improved. For example, what did you think of the food, music, DJ, location, time, etc.?
