Marlow Heights 60s and 70s

Sights Page 4
Ed Miraglia

Great photo here of Ed Miraglia, Sr. on the right, who used to work at the barber shop by the hobby shop. Some of you may have also known Ed’s wife, Ethel, who worked at Steak in a Sack. I don’t know who the gentleman is on the left. In the background you can see the Hot Shoppes cafeteria, Kitt’s Music, and Western Auto. Ed and Ethel are gone now, but many, many people from Marlow Heights and vicinity fondly remember them.

Brenda 1960

This is a photo of Brenda (Eddinger) Lambert (Potomac ‘75), in 1960, when she lived on Olson Street, directly across from Stoddert. You can tell the neighborhood wasn’t that old then, by looking at the size of the tree.
