Sandymount Class of '71 - 72

Mrs Davis, Grade 3

Marlow Heights 60s and 70s

Benjamin Stoddert Jr. High School: Actually links to the now Benjamin Stoddert Middle School, but has a history of the school. Here’s a picture of one of the school hallways from 1978. Here’s one of the school band in 1960 (courtesy Norman C.).

Potomac High School: Go here to a page about this school.

Sandymount Elementary: See class picture inside for more. Does anyone remember the helicopter flying over the school? That picture is in the photo gallery as well. Also, I recently (May 2006) spoke to my 5th Grade teacher Miss Doyle, who still lives in the area. What a trip back in time!

Crossland High School Class of 1973: Some pretty good photos, and if you look at the yearbooks you’ll definitely see some Grits! Tight alumni group, all should be like this.

La Reine High School. This Catholic all girls school in Suitland was closed in 1992, I believe. The link will take you to the Bishop McNamara High School page for past La Reine reunions.

Hillcrest Heights Elementary School: This picture was provided by Violet Sandy, of the 1969 4th Grade Class, Miss Gangone.

Green Valley Elementary School, Hillcrest Heights. Here are the pages on the site dedicated to the school.

Suitland High School. Come on, Rams, let’s get some more pictures!

Bradbury Heights Elementary School - Need more pictures

This page will contain information, photos, and links to schools in the Marlow Heights area, as well as a bit further out. Please send me your contributions and they’ll be used here with your credit.
