Suitland Senior High Class of ‘70, 40-Year Reunion
Hey, Rams! It will be October 8-10, 2010 at the Clarion Hotel (formerly Holiday Inn of Waldorf). There will be a social on October 8 at Damons Sports Bar in the Clarion Hotel. The dance will be on October 9 at the hotel. On October 10 (TBD) the group is planning to meet to eat crabs. Stay tuned and/or contact me for now for further details.

Marlow Heights 60’s and 70’s Spring 2010 Dance
There was a good turnout, considering it was held the night before Easter, and I’d guess we had a crowd of approximately 175. There were Mighty Mo’s recreated using the Hot Shoppes recipe, fries, onion rings, and A&W root beer floats. The entertainment consisted of (mostly) 60s and 70s music, dancing, and memories with some old friends and classmates.

Steak in a Sack get togethers. As an extension of the web site, we decided to have those interested meet up in Marlow Heights to meet and greet, talk about the old days, and tour the area afterwards. We chose Steak in a Sack because it’s a place that has been open since the early 60’s, and a lot of people remember it--plus you can still eat a tasty Steak in a Sack sandwich. These pages are of the several we have had, and will continue to have.

50th reunion of the Anacostia High School Class of '59. It will be Saturday evening July 18, 2009, at George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia. Additional info on tickets and such will be published as it becomes available. Anyone interested in attending should check the AHS Alumni website  www.anacostia.homestead.com/anacostia.html  for up-to-date information.

Holy Family. Holy Family Class of ‘76 celebrated its 30-year reunion Saturday, October 14, at the Comfort Inn BWI Airport. Go here for photos of the event.
