On August 22, 2009 we had at least 54 people show up, making it our largest turnout yet. Even though it was overcast when we started at 2 p.m., and eventually had quite the downpour, it obviously didn’t stop people from coming out. As always, we had some of the, “Regulars”, show up (Billie Martin, Lisa (Betterelli) Kriner, Rob Windsor), but we had mostly new folks come out. People attending were:

We’re tentatively planning the next get together to be October 24, because we’re trying to arrange a tour of Potomac Senior High beforehand. If we’re able to pull this off, we will meet at Potomac at 12 noon that day, for the tour from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. After that we will have the get together at Steak in a Sack from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Now, check out the photos, and click on each photo for a full page view. 	1. Standing in front of where Arcadia Gardens used to be, by the old Hecht’s, left to right it’s Harvey Chow, Chuck Fraley, Luley Chow, and Billie Martin. That’s also my GT-R R35, Nissan’s supercar, 0-60 in 3.5 seconds, 1/4 mile on 11.5, a top end of 193mph, and one of the top 10 fastest lap times at the ‘Ring.

I can’t name everyone here but, that’s Lisa (Betterelli) Kriner in the black top leaning over the table, husband Mike behind her in the blue top, Cary (Iron Man!) Hockett with the ponytail, and Bill Reid the big guy with the gray t-shirt.
